Scripture tells us that God is love. He is perfect, and His love is perfect. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more and nothing you can do to make Him love you any less. His love toward you is steadfast; it’s unchanging. His arms are always stretched out toward you, and He is always ready for you to come to Him.
I hate it. I hate it. I just hate the thought of not saving my supposed-to-be-blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now, I have nothing to publish. THAN THIS!
Waiting on God Just Got a Little. . . Sweeter
I think we all kinda dislike being told that word. We really don’t like waiting for anything.
But, God LOVES to make us wait.
Why? The cliché way to answer that would be “He has something better for you” or “He’ll answer in His time.”
Well, those 2 sayings are completely true, but…
I would love to wait if He is the one who commanded it ♥
THERE’S A LIMIT TO HUMAN PATIENCE. You are right. There is a limit to your emotional resources when you do not rely on Jesus to do the job of forgiving.
Don’t think that you are “too” gracious by suggesting a second chance as the maximum. Because when Jesus Christ died on the cross, He didn’t pay only for a selected few. HE PAID FOR ALL OF THEM, in full- NO limitations or exceptions. And as you deal with personal relationships and people hurt you, sometimes repeatedly, you can DRAW TO GOD’S UNLIMITED FORGIVENESS.
You don’t have to be concerned with protecting your rights and feelings because Jesus is in charge of taking care of you. Break the walls, shatter every pride and learn to forgive. :)
